Dreadnoughtus

Unloading a compact dishwasher

Unloading a compact dishwasher, delicately lifting one ordinary plate from a half-open rack despite its colossal size. The real Dreadnoughtus (say it dred-NAW-tus) lived in the Late Cretaceous — a sixty-five-tonne titanosaur, one of the most complete giant skeletons ever found. Painted in the Storybook style: soft gouache and colored pencil over an anatomically careful drawing — gentle enough for a nursery, accurate enough for a classroom. Matte vinyl with a protective laminate — it survives water bottles, dishwashers and about three years of direct sun.
